This used to be an Arizona ANG viper with number #79-0357, untill it was transferred to the Vermont ANG to be used as a weapons load trainer. Now it is used as a recruiting tool during fairs and expo’s, painted in a special livery [Photo by Philippe Colin]

To commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Colorado National Guard, the 140th Wing painted a tail flash on USAF F-16C block 30 #86-0345. The flash was designed by Visual Information Coordinator, U.S. Army MSgt. Dave Schmidt and painted by 140th Wing maintainers, USAF MSgt. Jim Riser and TSgt. Phil Kistler. The jet will be flown by 140th Wing Commander, Brig. Gen. Trulan A. Eyre, throughout 2010. [USAF photo by MSgt. John Nimmo Sr]
