TEHREEK-E-TALIBAN MERCILESSLY KILLING 15 FC SOLDIERS-*HIGHLY GRAPHIC CONTENT*

The outlawed organization Tehreek-e-Taliban abucted 15 FC Soldiers on 23rd Dec 2011 from Tank and promised to kill them irrespective of any negotiation. TTP killed those gallant soldiers and released the video showing them, being blindfolded and handcuffed with each other while those miscreants were aiming their heads from behind. TTP with the help of foreign intelligence agencies, is promulgating terrorism in Pakistan while intimidating innocent public. The violent and extremely brutal act of Taliban is easily depicting their frantic and squalid approach.

FACEBOOK AS AN EYE OF C.I.A

The FBI has got tired of monitoring social media sites manually and wants to reinvent the process. So, soon your posts may instantly light up on a map as a big red dot if considered suspicious, marking the location of the ‘bad actor.’
“Social media has become a primary source of intelligence because it has become the premier first response to key events and the primal alert to possible developing situations,” says the Request for Information published by FBI on January 19.

The FBI’s ‘market research’ shows that the bureau is planning to monitor all ‘publicly available’ data on social media sites through a new game-changing system.
The bureau is looking for a company which is interested in and capable of building such a system and has published a list of requirements for it.
The enquiry says that the system should provide an automated search and scrape capability of both social networking sites and open source news sites for breaking events, crises, and threats that meet the search parameters defined by the FBI.
It should also be capable of automated filtering of the data and of providing the operator with instant notification of breaking events and emerging threats.
The FBI places strong emphasis on the fact that the system should access only ‘publicly available’ data, taking every occurrence of this phrase in quotes throughout the whole document.
But most people do not realize that the data they are sharing with their friends on social networking sites is in fact publicly available.
The average user believes that only a narrow circle of close friends and relatives are reading his or her blog, and this gives them “the sense of freedom to say what they want without worrying too much about recourse,” says Jennifer Lynch at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, as cited by newscientist.com. “But these tools that mine open source data and presumably store it for a very long time do away with that kind of privacy. I worry about the effect of that on free speech in the US.”
All the collected data will be stored in the FBI database and conveniently displayed on a map upon request (by the way, FBI prefers Google, ESRI, and Yahoo maps to any other service). Of course the functionality of the map will be increased beyond the limits set for the common user.
The interactive map will have additional layers, such as US domestic and worldwide terror data, US embassies and military installations around the world, weather conditions and forecasts, and video feeds from surveillance and traffic cameras.
The revelation of the FBI’s ‘market research’ raises even more concerns about the aspects of private data safety on the Internet, as more and more data about the users is being collected and stored – for different reasons – in numerous databases around the globe.
Collecting the information in not a challenge anymore, but analyzing the data is. But there are companies, for example Google, which can crack such a problem.
Recently Google announced plans to bring all data collected from users’ separate accounts on its sites into a combined profile. Google is seeking ways of creating a simpler product experience and providing better services to its clients. But that move has triggered a lot of outrage and raised more questions about privacy on the Internet.

Our Nation Our Leaders Our Country- Pakistan

There is a saying, A Nation is awarded with those leaders which it deserve. A very clamorous truth that we all know but shun it. Today our incumbent leaders are perfectly epitomized as our nation. The nation which has transcended almost towards a stalemate due to its callous attitude towards their life. Our youth is the future of this country and it should be serious about the current nadir situation of Pakistan. Please listen to this song in which a patriot just expressed his feelings towards his country PAKISTAN.

Indian army concerned over Sino-Pak nuclear co-op

LONDON – Indian Army Chief General VK Singh in a report has expressed his grave concern over Pakistan-China atomic cooperation and joint military preparations.
In a detailed report submitted to Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil, Gen VK Singh has made a special mention of Pakistan Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani’s recent visit to China. This confidential report, pertaining to Afghanistan, says that Pakistan’s spy network is well-rooted and working efficiently in the neighbouring war-torn country. This network is also enjoying a strong support of local Taliban, due to which, India facing great difficulties in getting a foothold in the area.
As per Western media, the report reveals that with the practical cooperation of the American CIA, Indian spy agency RAW and Israeli secret agency Mossad planning to set up a joint army base in the country. Indian civil and military leadership, in this connection, have also held several meetings at the presidency. Indian Defence Minister AK Anthony, RAW chief and other high-ranking officials of the Indian nuclear command have been in constant consultations with Indian PM Manmohan Singh in this regard. Moreover, Afghan security chief, who has completed his training in India, regularly visits New Delhi. Sources say the US, while keeping a firm grip of the Afghan region, also wants India to play a dominant role in the area.
Western analysts in their recent analyses have expressed a number of times their apprehensions that US, in the days to come, would try to involve Pakistan and Iran in a new game pertaining to their nuclear assets. In this game India and Israel will also play a key role. In this connection, prior to nuclear security summit of the heads of the states going to be held on March 26-27, the US will increase pressure both on Pakistan and Iran.
More than 47 countries will participate in this conference.

9 Rockets Fired Over Pakistan Military Academy (kakool)

PESHAWAR: Attackers on Friday fired rockets at Pakistan’s top military academy, damaging its outer wall in a major security breach near the home where Osama bin Laden lived for years, officials said.
No one was hurt in the pre-dawn attack and it was unclear who fired the nine rockets from behind a mosque in mountains overlooking the Kakul academy.
The garrison city of Abbottabad was considered one of the safest parts of nuclear-armed Pakistan until American special forces on May 2 found and killed the al Qaeda founder in a compound where he apparently lived for five years.
Three rockets on Friday damaged the outer wall of the academy, which is just 500 metres (yards) from the site of the US Navy SEALs raid that seriously damaged already turbulent relations between Pakistan and the United States.
“Nine rockets were fired. Three rockets hit the boundary wall of the military academy and damaged it. No one was hurt in the attack,” Imtiaz Hussain Shah, a top local government official in Abbottabad told AFP.
“We have launched a search operation,” Shah added.
Mohammad Karim Khan, Abbottabad police chief, confirmed the attack.
“Three rockets hit the boundary wall. Three others landed in an open area and three others landed in a field,” he said.
Officials blamed terrorists for the attack.
Shah told TV channel Geo that police had recovered nine rocket-launching pads behind a mosque, about 500 metres from the academy.
“We have a security system and checkpoints on the roads, but the place they used as a launch pad is accessible from all sides and there are mountains at the back of this place,” he said.
“At this stage we cannot say who was involved, but they are terrorists and we are investigating how they managed to reach this place.”
Taliban and other militants are fighting an insurgency against the army, although there has been a marked decline in violence in recent months.
Considered one of the quietest towns in the northwest, nestled in pine-dotted hills and popular with day-trippers from the capital, Abbottabad is listed on Pakistan’s official tourism website as a “popular summer resort”.
But although it is mainly tranquil, it is close to more troubled areas.
A judicial commission is investigating how bin Laden managed to live undetected in Pakistan for so long, and whether there was any government or military collusion.
Pakistani-US ties have since reached a new low over US air strikes that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers last November, leading Pakistan to shut its Afghan border to Nato supplies and conduct a review of its alliance with Washington.

Pakistan Army's Blunt Rejection Of U.S Report Regarding Salala Incident

Pakistan Army on 23 Jan, blatantly and vociferously rejected the baseless and biased report of Pentagon in accordance to 26 Nov Salala Checkpost attack in which 24 beloved and gallant soldiers were rewarded with the honor of Shahadat.

Pentagon repeating the history of not accepting its dreading mistakes, again marked this incident as 'SELF DEFENSE' of NATO-ISAF forces slandering Pakistan Army for the initiation of the carnage.

Pakistan Army  retort the highly incredulous and spurious report of Pentagon by calling it a brilliantly concocted story and a 'work of faction'.

Pakistan lost her 24 brave soldiers due to the intentional blitz of coward NATO-ISAF forces who can not even defend their bases despite of their state-of-the-art weaponry. We, as a nation strongly condemn the gory act of coalition forces with a warning of bitter reprisal if they even try to think about doing it again.

German spies ordered Pak Army uniforms in Peshawar: sources

PESHAWAR: Sources Thursday revealed that a trio of German nationals, apprehended on Jan 21 in Peshawar, was about to receive a number of Pakistan Army uniforms for which they had placed an order in the local market some days back, Geo News reported.

Moreover, the some traditional ladies’ full-length outer garments (burqas) have also been recovered from their residence.

The alleged German spies namely Rolf Schmidt, Kristen Wild, and Lorenz had been living in Peshawar since 1981 and shifted to a bungalow at Parklane a year ago.

Police also found receipt of uniform order as well.

According to sources the foreigners had conveyed negative reports about Pakistan to Bonn Conference held in Germany last year to discuss future of Afghanistan after Nato pullout.

Intelligence agencies copped them in a raid at their house on Jan 21, they have been sent to German embassy as they could not provide any documents mandatory for staying in Pakistan.

American Soldiers Disgracing Dead Bodies- A Shameful Act

On 12 Jan 2012, footage was released showing American soldiers urinating on dead bodies of Taliban. The disgusting act of American soldiers has sparked outrage across the world with Afghanistan’s leaders labeling it as a ‘Recruitment tool for Taliban

In a 40s clip, the men can be heard joking and saying profanities about the Taliban while relieving their selves.  The humiliating and contemptuous act of American soldiers with the corpses was highly abhorred by general public and it will definitely have a very bad impact on peace deals of America with Taliban leadership.

Indian Army Forced to Eat Rotten Food in Camps

New Delhi - Pointing out that the Army marches on its stomach, India’s Public Accounts Committee of Parliament has taken exception to its ration supply chain practices and cited several “glaring deficiencies and inadequacies.”

Observing that in certain cases dry rations were consumed by troops even 6-28 months after the expiry of their normal Estimated Storage Life (ESL), the PAC in its report, has recommended that the authorities revisit/amend the existing provision of the Army Service Corps technical instructions to ensure that food items were issued in accordance with their ESL.

As for fresh vegetables and fruits, 74 per cent of these items issued to the units by the supply depots were not in accordance with the prescribed norms.

Citing “serious anomalies in receipt and supply of vegetables in one station alone,” the PAC said the Northern Command rations worth Rs. 1.92 crore remained untraceable . A test check reflected “deep-rooted and widespread malpractices in the supply chain management of the Army.”

Observing “shortcomings” in the procurement procedures of the Army Service Corps, it noted highly non-competitive procurement of fresh rations and deviation from the laid down guidelines.

Deploring the mismatch between the issue and receipt of rations, the PAC said it was inconceivable that such things could happen “without the complicity of officers” concerned.

In another report on the Canteen Stores Department (CSD), the PAC took a serious view of the Army Headquarters denying auditors access to the accounts of the Unit Run Canteens (URCs), which recorded an annual turnover of Rs.8,500 crores last year.

Noting that the Comptroller and Auditor-General was unable to audit the 3,600 URCs, the report said this restricted parliamentary oversight to the CSD.

The CAG has been seeking to audit the URCs’ accounts on the ground that the CSD transfers money from the Consolidated Fund of India in the form of qualitative discounts. But the armed forces are opposed to the move, claiming that the URCs are run with a non-public fund.

“The Committee is dismayed to note that Audit was denied access to records of the URCs by the Army Headquarters in spite of repeated request. What is more intriguing is the fact that such denial was made despite the directions of the Defense Ministry to make records of the URCs available for audit.”

CSD is a wholesale agent, which buys directly from manufacturers and selling to 4000 Unit Run Canteens of the armed forces all over India. According to RTI documents accessed by this scribe , the Unit Run Canteens have run up profits of at least Rs 300 crore on a turnover of Rs 8000 crore in the last decade. Now the official government auditor, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), wants to audit the accounts of the canteens.

The CAG says the canteens use government infrastructure, sell items at prices fixed by the Defence Ministry and are run by government personnel. Therefore the canteens are a government department.
But in a detailed note , high level army sources, dealing with this issue, said URCs are beyond the purview of the CAG.

The armed forces said Unit Run Canteens (URCs) are private ventures of the armed forces, which are wholly funded by individual regiments with officer and jawan contributing. The canteens buy items of daily use from CSD by advance cheque and sell the items to armed forces personnel wherever posted and the profits fund welfare programmes for armed forces personnel.

The Supreme Court in a judgment in April 2009 ruled that URCs are private ventures. But a cabinet note of August 1976 described the profits generated by canteens as non public funds and therefore outside government accounts. It said no money from the Consolidated Fund of India was going to the URCs.
But the CAG is standing firm, saying that money from the Consolidated Fund of India goes to the URCs. Senior army officers, however, say this money is a commercial loan not a grant. Last year around Rs 200 crore was paid back to the Consolidated Fund.

The armed forces are now reportedly considering a range of options including shutting down the URCs altogether and creating and funding their own NGO for the purpose. It would offer the same services as the URCs minus of course the headache.

Pakistan Nato blockade proves costly for US

Sending war supplies to Afghanistan is six times more expensive than before for the United States due of Pakistan shutting two of its border crossings for Nato containers, The Associated Presshas reported.
Pakistan took this step after a Nato air strike killed at least 23 soldiers at Salala check post in November last year.
According to reports, it costs US $104 million per month to send the supplies through a different route now, which is $87 million more than when the freight went through Pakistan.
US officials said that costs are not likely decrease in the near future, since US-Pakistan relations remain tense.
However earlier there were contradictory media reports that Pakistan is expected to re-open supply routes to Nato forces in Afghanistan soon. While a foreign ministry spokesperson described such reports as speculative, diplomatic sources  confirmed that Islamabad had given the nod for the resumption of Nato supplies once parliament approves new terms of engagements with the US.
The two land routes to Afghanistan through Pakistan account for just under a third of all cargo that the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) ships into Afghanistan.

US Air Force Wants To Wear Computers (After Army Took Them Off)

For 20 years, the US Army tried to link soldiers together by outfitting them with computers strapped to their bodies. Repeated failures led it to finally scrap the idea last fall. Weirdly, the Air Force wants to pick up where the Army unsuccessfully left off.
On Monday, the Air Force asked its friends in the defense industry if they could produce a “wearable computer” suit, complete with peripherals tethered to airmen’s body armor. That sounds a lot like the Army’s old, ill-fated plans for its “Nett Warrior” communications system.
The Air Force hasn’t formally asked businesses to submit bids. But it’s asking about the feasibility of businesses providing it a system with a “sunlight readable touch screen” and a “tactile keyboard,” hooked up to radios through USB cables. It should possess “load carriage technology to transfer weight load from the shoulders of the operator to the lower body” — probably a relief, since it’ll have to carry “ballistic plates in the front, rear, and both sides.” It should run Windows 7 and higher.
But if the Air Force wanted to know how realistic such a system is, it might just have asked its brothers in the Army. The answer it would have heard: not very.

Pak Army Martyrs bodies come back to Army

PESHAWAR: The bodies of 10 Pakistan Army soldiers killed during a clash with fighters of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Orakzai Agency on December 21 were returned to the military authorities on Monday in exchange for 10 bodies of the militants.

Military sources said a group of TTP fighters had attacked a security checkpost, called “Maqsood Post”, near Daboori in Orakzai tribal region on December 21 and 10 soldiers had died fighting the militants who reportedly wanted to capture them alive. The security post was manned by the Pakistan Army soldiers.

Pleading anonymity, a senior military official said the troops fought till the last bullet and killed a number of militants. They said 10 soldiers died fighting and the militants took away their bodies and kept them in their hideouts in the mountains of Orakzai Agency. “The militants had killed our soldiers and taken away their bodies along with them. We had killed their people and taken possession of the bodies left behind by the TTP fighters. With the help of tribal elders, we managed to exchange the bodies,” the official said.

He said none among the slain security personnel was of officer rank. He added that the bodies had not been damaged as they were kept in Orakzai Agency where the temperature was quite cold these days.

TTP spokesman Ihsanullah Ihsan claimed responsibility for killing the soldiers and said their fighters had taken away these bodies. “We had left behind five bodies of our slain fighters while taking away the 10 bodies of slain soldiers. After a series of talks, we exchanged the bodies on Monday. We gave them bodies of their soldiers and they returned the bodies of our fighters,” the TTP spokesman said.

The bodies of another five militants killed during a raid by the paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) in Karamna area of Landikotal Tehsil of Khyber Agency were also returned to the TTP in exchange for bodies of the slain soldiers.

The militants said senior militant commander Qari Kamran, who was affiliated with commander Tariq Afridi, the TTP leader for Darra Adamkhel and Khyber Agency, had also been killed along with other militants. The militants on January 5 killed 15 Frontier Constabulary personnel and called it a revenge for the killing of Qari Kamran. The FC men were kidnapped by the militants during an attack on their fort in the Mullazai area of the Frontier Region Tank on December 23.

Pakistani security officials said Orakzai Agency was the most favoured place for the militants.

They believe that from the Orakzai Agency, the militants used to plan attacks on Pakistani forces and government installations in other tribal regions and also move freely into Peshawar and other major cities to carry out sabotage acts.

Surrounded by mountains, Orakzai is the only one among the seven tribal agencies that does not border Afghanistan. The Taliban often bragged that Orakzai was far away from the Nato forces across the border and from the US drones. It was relatively easy for the militants to move northwest into the Khyber and Kurram agencies and use Bilandkhel, a small village which links Orakzai with North Waziristan tribal region, to the south to sneak into the Afghan border to fight the foreign forces.

In November 2010, the army sealed off these routes to try and prevent the militants escaping the military offensive in South Waziristan from seeking safe havens in Orakzai. Pakistani officials believed that Hakimullah Mahsud was operating in Orakzai before shifting to South Waziristan after becoming the TTP chief following the death of Baitullah Mahsud in a drone attack in Zangara village, South Waziristan.

Security forces launched a fresh military operation in Orakzai when Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar went there and came under attack. The troops have cleared some of the areas in Orakzai but are still facing tough resistance from the militants in upper parts of the troubled tribal region where the militants have established their sanctuaries.

Surprising fact about Teh Royal Navy

THE captains of Britain’s nuclear submarines had a bit of a wake up call today - when the BBC mysteriously went off air for 15 minutes.

The Today programme, which is popular with government ministers, went silent just before the 8 o’clock news because of a fire alarm at BBC HQ.

Culture Minister Tessa Jowell was speaking when the programme was cut off and the main news was replaced by classical music.

The unusual event was a crucial test for Britain’s four Trident nuclear submarines, patrolling in secret locations around the world and cut off from base.

On board are handwritten letters from Prime Minister Tony Blair, bearing his instructions for nuclear retaliation. They are locked in the submarines' safes.

Secret orders to the captains say that these deadly instructions are to be opened and acted upon only if the submarine cannot tune in to Radio 4’s Today programme for a given number of consecutive days. That is a reliable sign that Britain has been hit by a nuclear attack.

Smoke

Reports suggest that the Prime Minister’s letter, written just days after he won the 1997 election, offers the submarines four options: to put the vessels under US command, to make their way to Australia, to launch a nuclear strike against the enemy or to use their own judgement.

There are reports that Tony Blair "went white" when told he must write such letters after his election victory.

The submarine captains will have been alerted when the Today programme mysteriously went off air, even for just 15 minutes. The Ministry of Defence today refused to discuss details of instructions given to the nuclear submarines for security reasons.

After smoke was spotted at BBC TV Centre the system was shut down and Today staff rushed to another part of the building to continue the programme.

Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell who was cut off mid-sentence when the problems struck the flagship news show joked that it was the first time she was allowed to answer questions without being interrupted.

She was followed by Foreign Secretary Jack Straw who was interviewed when the show was moved to another studio. He joked: "Perhaps it’s a not so subtle bid by the BBC to increase the licence fee to pay the electricity bill."

The suspected powercut hit both Radio 4 and Radio 5 and TV’s BBC News 24 was also cut off for a short period of time.
